Mama Feel Goods is one of my regular stops while biking. As it’s just on the outskirts of Canterbury – so you’re certainly far away enough to avoid any traffic!
For me, this isn’t a working coffee shop like many of my other reviews are. Instead, this is more of a quiet, cozy, social venue. Frequented by locals from both Bekesbourne and the surrounding area.
The coffee served here is ok – it’s not a true coffee shop – but nor does it claim to be. Instead, it is very much that of a farm shop – which to its clientele, I think it is exactly what they are looking for. The team working here are lovely and the coffee and food are both reasonably priced – so what more could you want. I have been guilty of the occasional Brie and Bacon Panini here – normally before heading out for a chilly ride.
The ride here is something that is most certainly notable, as coming from Wingham towards this little shop is rather fun. Mostly down to the fact that the route is built of long winding national stretches with great views across the fields. So, if you’re in need of a quick ride just outside Canterbury – this could be the run for you.
Typically, I would comment on the WiFi as I work in Coffee Shops, however, for me this is not a working coffee shop – instead a social one. However, when I do eventually do a working trip here – I will let you know how it is.
