Bluewater<br/>Costa Coffee

One of my favourite working Coffee Shops. Yep – it’s a Costa. I know, it’s not as good as some of the independents when it comes to coffee. But that doesn’t mean the team working here can’t be. I’ve frequented this Costa for a number of years, going back to when I was still studying my GCSEs – albeit only five or so years ago.

As a result, some of the team here who are still here after all of these years have seen my best and worst days. The best with family, the worst while studying for my Mechanics Unit 3 Exam for my Maths A-Level. Already shivering at the thought of it.

Did I mention the Waterstones?

This costa here is very much a home from home – in part thanks to the adjoining Waterstones bookstore. And if you’re like me that while you love your MacBook you can’t beat a Moleskine notebook and ink pen for working out your thoughts – then this is the place. You would think by now I would have the notebook supply chain sorted by now – but nobody’s perfect – so being able to pop across and grab another should the need arise is a lifesaver.

Even today, as I sit here sipping on my Flat White, having spilt it for the second time in the past couple of years across my Computer – I can’t help but love it here. Although, I do wish they had a quieter area for working like at The Independent Pedaler. Also, to the guy or gal which designs these Costa Coffee Shops – please put in more power sockets – TIA <3.

The Wi-Fi isn’t great – I won’t lie about that. But as you are upstairs and just outside of London you can get a good hotspot connection – so save some of your data for this coffee .

Bikers…

Bikers paradise – not quite. But if you fancy a trip down the M20 or M2 then certainly not a problem. At least you can beat the 5 pm rush hour as all the shoppers leave. I’m yet to find the motorcycle parking, although I’m sure it does exist. In the meantime, I’m sure by one of the entrances will do fine. Not sure on what Bluewater management would think mind. If you have found it though – hit me up in the comments.
